Biographical Information

Michael Steven Cole

Michael was born in Harrison, Arkansas, on 28 April 1955. He grew up on a farm west of there under the guidance of Christian parents. He was immersed into Jesus Christ in 1967.

He graduated in 1976 from Harding University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. In 1980 he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Family Practice residency training was completed in 1983 at Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He married Jeannie Johns in Searcy, Arkansas, in 1975. Daughter Angelique was born in 1979 and son Steven was born in 1981.

Michael served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1976 to 1987. He was stationed with his family in Naples, Italy, in 1983 to 1986.

Living in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he began serving as a Family Physician in Roland, Oklahoma, in 1987.

Michael was appointed a deacon in 1989 for the West-Ark church of Christ in Fort Smith. He has led several short-term foreign medical mission projects. In 1995 he became actively involved in Internet evangelism.
